Terms and Conditions

Rise Academy cannot guarantee any player a scholarship, financial assistance, or anything of related to scholarship money in college. The only thing that we can offer is playing time and the opportunity to play in front of college coaches, whether that be D1, D2, D3, Junior College D1, Junior College D2, and/or NAIA. We are not held responsible for how a player performs during games. We reserve the right to play players how, when and in what games we see fit. Not every player is guaranteed to play in every game and/or event.

If at any time a player causes problems with the coaches, housing, mentors, spectators, and/or players we have the right to punish players as we see fair. If players continue to cause problems we reserve the right to send a player home with the possibility of no return. If this happens, all payments will seize if payments are up to date. If payments are not up to date, the overdue payments are still due and legal action may be necessary.

In order to secure a place at Rise Academy a deposit must be made. After 15 days, this deposit is non-refundable. All payments are due the 1st of every month until the entire bill is paid, no exceptions. These payments begin August 1st, unless given another date or if a player is to start late. After 15 days there will be an extra charge of $50 dollars per day. If a player's payment is overdue a month or more, we reserve the right to send said player home and possibly ask him not to return.

Rise Academy is not a school. Rise Academy is simply a basketball program. A player or parent may not sue Rise Academy for anything academic related. A player or parent/guardian may not slander Rise Academy about anything pertaining school related issues. Rise Academy is not claiming to be a school. All schooling and/or educational assistance is outsourced.

Not all events, trips, flights, and/or travel are guaranteed in the tuition. If a player and/or parent is unsure of what is included in their specific tuition please make a call to a director. A player may not sue due to not getting in school, the housing, when and where a player was played, and/or the terms in which a player was dismissed from the academy.

By signing up, you are agreeing that you understand the terms and conditions as seen above. You are also agreeing that you are either the player or parent who will take financial responsibility for the tuition. If you are a player you are agreeing that you are at least 18. Although you are not legally bound to enroll at Rise Academy, you are legally responsible for understanding these terms and conditions if you enroll.

If any provision in these Terms of Use is held invalid, the remainder of these Terms of Use shall continue to be enforceable. If any provision in these Terms of Use is deemed unlawful, void or unenforceable, then that provision is deemed severable from these Terms of Use and the remaining provisions are still valid and enforceable.

Rise Academy does own and run Miami International Academy. A player and or person looking to join either program is responsible for the same terms and conditions. If a person is signing up for the Miami International Academy program please note that the legal responsibility is directed towards Miami International Academy and not Rise Academy.
